The Arena Owl vs. Owl

The federal government wants to add to the list of endangered species in Texas. We support environmental stewardship but let’s be honest, the federal government has a poor track record with intervening in…just about everything. Endangered species designations lead to excessive interventions that destroy businesses, kill jobs, and undercut private property rights. Sometimes the designations lead to a lot of whacky decisions by bureaucrats who are clearly in over their heads. The latest example is the recent decision to kill thousands of one species of owl in order to make room for another species of owl. Brilliant!
